boxes under streetlights

beautiful women walk around

looking like magazine flowers,

with men dressed like money

that smell like cologne samples

together they look like

Tennessee whiskey with honey

and I envy them

not their beauty or outfit price tags

because I look okay sometimes, and

I have enough to keep my soul glowing

I am jealous of the box

they can fit in together

and I wonder as they go

what I look like to them

with no box
